Victor Saifi

Victor Saifi is a New Zealand Registered Electrical Engineer and Registered Electrical Inspector. He also holds a Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence and a New South Wales Qualified Supervisor Certificate and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand and New South Wales. He is the Principal Consultant of Legal Circuit.

His practice focuses on electrical forensic engineering, high-risk electrical inspections, WoEF inspections, compliance, technical investigations, expert evidence and independent engineering advice. He works across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure matters.

Victor investigates electrical failures, identifies root causes, assesses compliance and explains the engineering evidence. His reports provide clear findings supported by testing, technical analysis, applicable standards and objective reasoning.

He also provides end-to-end registration and licensing application services. These include EWRB pathways for Electricians, Electrical Engineers and Electrical Inspectors, Australian electrical licensing under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act, and trans-Tasman admission applications for New Zealand-admitted lawyers.

Through his engineering, inspection and legal career, Victor has worked across professional registration, licensing, compliance and evidential requirements in both New Zealand and Australia. He understands how regulators assess qualifications, experience and supporting evidence, and how to present an application clearly and completely.

His engineering practice is complemented by legal training, providing additional perspective where technical issues intersect with regulatory requirements, contracts, liability, insurance or disputes. Legal Circuit also provides specialised heat pump and refrigeration services.
